  • Steel:

Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon, where carbon does not exceed 2.1% by weight [1] of the composition of the alloy, normally reaching rates between 0.2% and 0.3%. Percentages higher than 2.0% carbon result in foundries, alloy to be brittle and not being able to forge.
  • Iron:

is a light grey metal that has magnetic properties, but it corrodes easily, has a high melting point and is difficult machining. It is fragile and brittle.

  • Foundry:

it has high hardness and high resistance.
